I believe that friends can be a positive influence in any situation. My story is that one day I was at school and I got in trouble with a really mean teacher named Mrs. Barham, over a small simple joke. It was taken the complete wrong way. I was sent to the office to call my mom. When i picked up the phone I slowly press the cold, cheap champagne colored buttons. With each click scaring me more and more. As the phone rang the white noise calmed me. But then I heard the noise. The sound of her picking up, the sound of breathing in the phone. I sit there scared as could be. She must have sent an email because i was met with a hard sigh and a stern voice saying “What did you do?” I told her about the joke. A harmless joke about feminism. And it wasn't the truth. Just the joke. She said she was disappointed and the we were going to talk about it when I get home. After a long dreaded talk that seemed like an hour, I had no content in living left in me. I knew as I went home I would be killed. As I headed back to my class I was was petrified with fear. Bullets of sweat were running down my forehead as I walk the empty corridor. When I got there, I told my friends what happened. They told me their feelings towards the teacher which made me laugh. They were telling me they were in it with me to the end. They made me feel better about it. At the end of the day when I was going home, My stomach was dropping. To the point where it curled upon itself and turned into a black hole. When I got home my mom was very disappointed. But in the end my friends made me feel not so bad about it.
